Nolan has been in the mortgage finance industry since 2007. His career started at a finance company that dealt with a complex demographic of borrowers. Nolan excelled as an advisor, then senior advisor, then Branch Manager and was a top-performer in the company nation-wide. While the reward of obtaining approvals for seemingly un-approvable clients was there, the limited product and rate selection deterred his desire to stay in the position for long. In 2009, Nolan joined Peet & Cowan Financial as an independent mortgage broker and found a good fit at a great company. There, he paired his knowledge of how to get tough approvals done with an array of mortgage products priced at best-market levels.

While there, Nolan learned how to think and manage his business prudently, foster and maintain key relationships all while growing his network. In January of 2016, Nolan opened the doors of Oceanvale Mortgage & Finance. Harbouring everything bestowed upon him by the people that surrounded him on his journey through the mortgage business, the vision he crafted for his own business took flight. Partnered with TMG, The Mortgage Group Canada, Nolan found the balance between a locally owned and operated mortgage brokerage, with the access and network of a national conglomerate.

Leading the company, Nolan believes in the power of an unforgettable customer experience. His network of Realtor partners, lawyers, appraiser, insurance agents and wealth managers all culminate to a well thought out and established process that is bar none.

Nolan spent a few years sitting on a national board for Mortgage Professionals Canada which boasts 12,000+ members Canada wide, as well as some time sitting on a loan committee for Community Futures to help adjudicate small business loans.

In his downtime, he enjoys travelling with his wife, Kaity, and their 3 children, or spending time on the golf course, lake, west coast, or anywhere else our beautiful island has to offer.

Kaity brings to Oceanvale Mortgage & Finance 13 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. All that time being spent with a single institution, she took on many different roles: client care, staff management, tech development, and mortgage lending to name a few. She rose to management quickly due to her passion for her clients, staff, and her personal growth. Once there, she relished in the satisfaction that comes from getting results for those she was responsible for. She combines her drive with a keen ability to connect with others, determination to overcome challenges, and a decisive and authentic leadership style. Kaity’s ambitions to be at the top of her industry attracted her to Oceanvale and looks forward to using all her faculties to create a 5-star experience for our client base.

After hours, you will find Kaity on the golf course, at the gym, or on an adventure with her family.

Lindsey Peters

Lindsey joins Oceanvale after 20 years in various customer service roles. She has spent the last 5 of those years in the financial services industry and most recently as a top-producing mortgage underwriter. While it takes years to hone your skills administrating mortgages, Lindsey rose to the top of her field very quickly. She attributes her success to her focus on client satisfaction as well as her willingness to embrace change. Lindsey truly enjoys keeping apprised of financial trends and up to date on the constant industry changes to ensure she’s well versed and can deliver the most relevant information possible.

When not at work, Lindsey can be found walking her dog on the beaches near her home in Lantzville, hiking with her husband, or at the ball field with her two sons.

One of the biggest things that drew Natasha to the Oceanvale team was their customer centric approach to each client’s mortgage journey.

Natasha harbours almost two decades of customer service experience in the financial, retail, and hospitality industries. Her drive to deliver exceptional customer service and find unique solutions to her individual client’s needs fueled her success. Natasha always managed to find ways, big and small, to go above and beyond for her clients to make their experience a meaningful and memorable one. Natasha’s dedication to finding ways to make things work in her client’s best interests has allowed her to create many long-lasting relationships. Working as a mortgage advisor as a perfect fit; allowing her to use her skillset to help her clients achieve their dreams of homeownership.

When she is not working with you to make your goals a reality, she fills her downtime on the golf course or driving range, at the local spin studio she loves attending, or by spending quality time with her husband Steve, son Parker, and French Bulldog Whiskey.
